The medieval city of Chiusa is a sight in itself. Its narrow alleys and the monastery Sabiona, situated high on the rocks over the city and once even Episcopal see, are witness to a rich past. When visiting the municipal museum you'll have the opportunity to learn everything about the town's history. Here, you'll also able to admire the famous treasure of Loreto, a magnificent Art collection dating back to the 16. Century donated by the Spanish Queen Anna.
Where is the closest skiing resort?
In Chiusa you'll be really only spoilt for choice: the closest skiing resort is Plose(above Bressanone). Sunny slopes and the longest ski run of South Tyrol await you there. Here, you are right in the middle of the Dolomites where the World Cup slopes and the legendary ski round "Sellaronda" will astonish you.
